KROONER PARK

Krooner Park has been the club’s home since 1923, located on Wilton Road, with its acquisition funded by the winnings from a racehorse named Krooner in 1920. Officially opened on 26 December 1923, the ground was sold to the local council in 1939, which then assured its availability for the club in perpetuity. Despite a mid-1960s proposal to relocate, the club remained at Krooner Park, where floodlights were added in 1974, marking a record attendance of approximately 3,100 during the inaugural floodlit match against Crystal Palace.
