Travel/Directions

Everything you need to know for your visit to the Sussex Transport Community Stadium.

Travel & Directions

We encourage all supporters to travel to Mayfield Stadium using public transport where possible. This helps reduce our local carbon footprint and eases matchday congestion for our neighbours.

🚆 By Train

Mayfield Stadium is well-served by two nearby railway stations, both located on the Southern Rail network with direct links to London Victoria and London Bridge.

Thornton Heath Station (approx. 15-minute walk):

Exit the station and head south on Brigstock Road. Continue straight until you reach the junction for Mayfield Road. Follow Mayfield Road directly to the stadium entrance.

Norbury Station (approx. 20-minute walk):

Exit onto London Road (A23) and head south towards Thornton Heath. Turn into Mayfield Road and continue until you reach the ground.

🚌 By Bus

Several local bus routes stop within a short walking distance of the stadium.

Routes 60, 109, and 250 run frequently along London Road.

Routes 198 and 250 serve Thornton Heath high street.

Alighting: Ask for the “Mayfield Road” or “Thornton Heath Pond” stops.

🚲 By Bicycle

Cycling is a fantastic, sustainable way to reach the ground. While we do not have a dedicated internal valet, there are areas near the entrance where bikes can be secured. Please ensure you bring a high-quality lock.
