Prohibited Items
To ensure the safety and comfort of everyone at the Mayfield Stadium, Croydon Athletic Football Club maintains a strict policy regarding prohibited items. Any person found in possession of the following may be refused entry, have the items confiscated, or be reported to the police.
Strictly Prohibited Items
The following items must not be brought into the ground:
- Weapons & Dangerous Objects: Knives, blades, firearms, ammunition, explosives, or any article that could be used as a weapon.
- Pyrotechnics: Fireworks, flares, smoke canisters, and any other incendiary devices.
- Illegal Substances: Any form of illegal drugs or prohibited substances.
- Glass & Cans: Bottles, glass vessels, cans, and flasks. (Water bottles may be permitted but must be decantable upon request).
- Large Items: Large suitcases, hampers, cold boxes, and flag poles greater than 1m in length.
- Transport: Scooters, skateboards, skates, or motorbike helmets.
Stadium Disruptions & Media
- Noise & Light: Air-horns, hailers (e.g., megaphones), laser devices, and darts.
- Media Equipment: Professional cameras (those with interchangeable lenses) and recording devices are prohibited without prior club accreditation. Laptops and transmitting devices are also restricted.
- Unauthorised Materials: Unauthorised fliers, items with conflicting corporate or inappropriate branding, spray paint, large industrial-style marker pens, and illegal merchandise.
- Solicitation: Illegal charity collection utensils are strictly forbidden. Bringing in political or campaign materials of any kind is prohibited from inside the ground or anywhere on our premises.
Animals
Well-behaved dogs are permitted within the stadium but must be kept on a lead at all times. Owners remain responsible for their dog’s behaviour.
