We are delighted to announce that Ben Wynter has joined Croydon Athletic from Woking.
The 27-year-old right back arrives from the Surrey-based club, where he made 10 appearances in the Vanarama National League last season.
Prior to his spell at The Cardinals; Wynter spent two seasons at Barnet, making 50 appearances across his spell at the club.
Wynter was a Crystal Palace academy graduate and joined Bromley in summer 2017, at 20-years-old, making 14 appearances before being loaned to Hampton & Richmond in December 2017. After joining The Beavers permanently, Wynter decided to leave the club to join Torquay United in July 2018.
At the Devon-based club, he was a key player in the team promoted as champions from the National League South in 2018/19. Whilst at the club, Wynter made 144 appearances and earned an England C cap in March 2022.

Speaking about his decision to join Croydon Athletic, Ben Wynter said: “I am delighted to join Croydon Athletic. The move came at a good time for myself and my family. I know The Chairman Danny Young from my time at Crystal Palace when I was younger and I have spoken to him a few times since the takeover at Croydon Athletic Football Club.”

Ben will wear the number 21 shirt and has already trained with the squad ahead of our first league fixture against Sevenoaks Town on Saturday.
